Yet another successful KING ICT Academy is behind us. The Academy is a free education programme and paid internship offering students a window into the IT world. After the first, theoretical part of the Academy, KING experts selected the students who stood out above the others, and these students received an opportunity to try out the practical part.
This year the task was to develop an “Internal communication application” that would enable better communications and the exchange of ideas among all KING employees.
150 APPLICATIONS, 22 MENTORS, 55 LECTURES, 11 INTERNS AND 2 EXCELLENT SOLUTIONS!
A record number of students, 150 in total, applied to take part in this year’s Academy. The best 11 were selected to participate in the practical part and were divided into two teams. Team 2 worked with two members from KING’s Split office, though this distance was not a barrier in the least!
The teams were given the same assignment to tackle. They took different approaches and offered two different, but excellent solutions that they presented at the show-off:
This is how it looked!
