The fourth Thursday in April is fast approaching, when the Girls in ICT Day event will be held globally for the 11th year! This initiative by the United Nations International Telecommunications Union (ITU) promotes career opportunities in technology for girls and women, in the world’s fastest growing sector.
On the occasion, our female experts from KING ICT will hold online lectures and workshops for secondary school pupils, in order to show them all the opportunities available in the world of ICT.
The KING experts will give an overview of their career path, with emphasis on their current job. They will also explain their role in the life cycle of a project.
During the workshop “mKino”, pupils will have the opportunity to work with a mentor to develop a proposal for a simple mobile application to buy movie tickets. This will above all introduce them to the concepts of business analysis. The task will be expanded in relation to last year’s task.
