The FrontEd workshop, which was supported by KING ICT as a platinum partner, has won the Rector’s Award of the University of Zagreb for the 2020/21 academic year.
FrontEd is a free, two-week, professional workshop of the EESTEC LC Zagreb student association that offers students the opportunity to hone their front-end programme skills and to acquire new knowledge and skills. This year, it was organised for the first time due to the strong interest of students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Zagreb, on the topic of webpage building.
The KING ICT experts had the task of training student teams in theory, and providing a server to transform the newly learned skills into practice. Teams uploaded their web applications onto the server, then resolved tasks posed by the KING experts, who then reviewed all the submitted works and selected the first, second and third place solutions.
Congratulations to the KING ICT experts who took part: Alen Adanić, Goran Gerbus, Renato Ćurić, Karlo Benčić and Krešimir Kondža. Alen and Renato held the lectures, while Goran, Karlo and Krešimir developed the hackathon task.
