It has already become a tradition that KING ICT strives to include a humanitarian aspect in its teambuilding activities. In 2023, KING ICT completely renovated and digitalized a classroom at Mario Martinolić Elementary School in Mali Lošinj (which included the donation of laptops and the installation of a smart board).
A year before that, all teambuilding activities had a humanitarian note. As part of the teambuilding, KING ICT employees assembled 54 bicycles that were donated to children in foster care through the Oaza association. Furniture was made for two children’s homes, and financial resources were donated to three selected associations. For the 2022 teambuilding, KING ICT and Team Building Croatia received an award for the best event of 2022, specifically – the Ambassador award given by the Croatian Meeting Professionals Association, for the best organization and execution of an event.
This year, KING ICT decided to let the winners of the sports activities choose which associations, always in need of financial assistance, King would donate funds to.
The following associations were chosen – each with a beautiful mission, each making the world a better place to live:
– Izvor Ljubavi Association, which helps children with learning difficulties in the Šibenik-Knin County
– Aurora Šibenik Association, which supports people with cerebral palsy, childhood paralysis, and other forms of physical disabilities
– Ardura Association, which conducts psychosocial, preventive, and treatment programs for children, youth, parents, and families
– ZvoniMir Association, a non-profit organization that works with young people, volunteers, the elderly, and disabled persons, as well as victims of domestic violence. The association organizes volunteer activities, educational programs, and workshops, aiming to popularize volunteering in the community. The association also offers free legal advice, and accompaniment to courts and police stations.
