In Skopje (North Macedonia), NATO Industry Day was held. This event provides an excellent opportunity for companies to better understand the procurement processes, rules and regulations of NSPA (NATO Support and Procurement Agency).
This is an event aimed at connecting NATO with the industry sector, i.e., with companies that have the potential to work with NATO or to provide products or services required by the NATO Alliance. This includes companies involved in technologies, telecommunications, logistics, engineering, and more.
This event offered the industry in North Macedonia the chance to learn more about working with
NATO and its procurement processes through the agencies NCI and NSPA.
Our colleagues from KING ICT Macedonia attended the event, and KING locally received the Declaration of Eligibility, meaning that it is eligible to directly work with the NCI Agency and to support KING ICT Croatia in its projects in the region. In order to qualify for the Declaration, KING ICT Macedonia has fulfilled significant technical, administrative and financial conditions.
“NATO Industry Day was an excellent opportunity for us, confirming that we are on the right path. We are pleased that the North Macedonian branch office has the possibility to actively cooperate with KING ICT (Croatia), to build its experience, and strengthen the local team,” stated Bojan Slavković, head of the sales division at KING ICT Macedonia.
“We are proud that KING ICT can rely on us as a branch and a local team for its projects in this part of Europe (North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Greece, Bulgaria). It is a massive advantage that our parent company (KING ICT Croatia) has experience in working with the NCI Agency, and that they selflessly share this experience with our local team,” concluded Bojan.
NCI Agency and KING ICT
KING ICT and NATO have been working together successfully for a number of years. In early 2023, the NCI Agency signed two “Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity” (IDIQ) contracts with KING ICT (Croatia) and IBM Belgium, for the provision of implementation and configuration services in the field of cyber-security for the entire NATO Enterprise. One year earlier, KING ICT successfully delivered a SIEM solution for the NATO Agency.
