The SAP Discovery Day conference, which took place at the Amadria Royal Hotel in Opatija on October 12, was a resounding success, bringing together industry leaders, innovators and experts to explore the limitless possibilities of digital transformation and innovation.
The participants had a unique opportunity to dive into the world of cloud technology, innovation strategies and stable business practices. They gained valuable insight into the digital landscape that has the potential to reshape the business world. One of the highlights of the conference was the lecture by our colleague Tomislav K. Jukić, senior project manager at KING ICT and user Ivica Nikolić, project manager at Croatian Forests.
SAP ERP SYSTEM FOR ALL BRANCHES OF CROATIAN FORESTS
Their presentation focused on the transformative experiences of the SAP ERP project, shedding light on how innovation and stability can redefine business strategies and improve operations. Namely, Tomislav and Ivica told the story of a big project, and at the same time a big success – specifically – how a valuable and high-quality SAP ERP system was smoothly introduced in all branches of Croatian Forests at the level of the Republic of Croatia, partly also in Slovenia.

I am glad that I got the opportunity, together with our esteemed user, to present to the participants this excellent solution, which first of all testifies to a great undertaking done for a large and important company. The implementation of the SAP ERP system in all branches of Croatian Forests was a big project, but we knew that it was very feasible with our experts and by listening to our client’s needs at every step,” said Tomislav.
The event served as a reminder that embracing innovation and adapting to change are key in shaping a brighter and more successful future for companies in Croatia and Slovenia.
